What we do:
We are incubating a global consumer product that reimagines how students learn in the world of AI. This will try to address the most fundamental problems in the way students learn. This is an immersive conversational tutor that allows us to get expert high quality, personalized teaching scaled to millions of students.
Role Overview:
As a UI Developer, you will design and implement user interfaces for our AI solutions, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create responsive and intuitive web applications.
Desired Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, Tailwind, React.js/Next.js, and state management libraries.
UI Libraries: Experience with UI component libraries like Material-UI, shadcn/ui, Chakra, Next UI or Ant Design.
State Management: Understanding of state management principles and familiarity with some major libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Jotai, React-query, etc.
Design Understanding: Must be having an eye for design and ability to collaborate on UI.
Computer fundamentals: Understanding of basics of computer networking, rendering, browsers, APIs and different programming paradigms and design patterns.
Brownie Points:
Design Principles: Ability to understand basic design principles such as balance, hierarchy, contrast, types, etc…
Animations: Have worked with animations of any kind, familiar with any of the modern animation libraries.
UI/UX: Has a basic understanding of UI/UX design. Able to create and export designs from Figma, and make minor adjustments to the design.
Product thinking: An ability to empathize with end-users and a will to make solutions easier to use.
