Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly competent and motivated IT Manager to lead and manage our IT operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth IT operations, providing technical support, and implementing IT strategies that align with the company's business objectives. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable IT environment that supports our employees and facilitates our company's growth.
Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and cloud services.
IT Support: Provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems.
IT Procurement: Manage IT procurement, including hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
IT Security: Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls, to protect company data and systems.
Network Administration: Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure network availability and security.
Cloud Management: Manage cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring optimal performance and cost management.
IT Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure IT operations.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss in case of emergencies.
IT Budget Management: Manage the IT budget, track IT expenses, and ensure cost-optimization.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support.
Skills:
IT Infrastructure: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including network devices, servers, storage, and cloud services.
Network Administration: Experience with network administration, including routing, switching, and firewall management.
Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
IT Support: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to provide effective IT support.
IT Security: Knowledge of IT security best practices, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals.
Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-8 years of proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
